Connecting With God Through Unwavering Faith

You were made for a purpose. Make sure you fulfill that purpose before you say goodbye to this life you are living today. God’s purpose is what I’m talking about: Fear him, worship him, love and do his will all the time. He has a special reward for you; don’t let it slip off of you. It all begins by connecting with God daily through prayers.

Have you connected with God lately?. If not, get your telephone cables ready. I want to help you stay connected with him. God is a Spirit, omnipresent and omnipotent. The only telephone you need is “a prayer full of faith.”

How does it feel like being a Christian but not seeing any sign of God?. Skeptical? Faithful? or faithless?. The only answer is found in “unwavering faith.” It takes faith to move mountains and feel the miraculous presence of the Lord throughout your life.

Before you connect with God in prayer, you need to have a strong faith in him. It is the foundation of a Christian’s relationship with God. Take a look at these Bible verses about faith.

This post is purposed to awaken Christians who sometimes doubt the presence and the reality of God. Why?. Because they barely see any miracles in their lives. Although they have been professing to be born again Christians. My friend, it doesn’t end there. Have you been bearing good fruits?. There is nothing like “trouble free” life for those who worship God. You need to keep on having faith in God during hard times.

Going through fire refines you into a piece of beautiful jewelry. Stay calm and connected with God.

“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God” (Zachariah 13:9).

Before you question the whereabouts of God because your prayers haven’t been answered; find out how God appreciates your efforts of getting close to him. He is real and ever presents to help. When things start getting tough, pray and read some Bible verses for encouragement. The Bible can inspire you to stay strong in difficult times than any other book.

There are reasons for everything happening around us. Some are mystical so don’t stress yourself to understand. Remember that, it is God’s will that should be fulfilled, not yours.

If your prayers meet God’s will then he will do it. Trust in him unconditionally. He has better plans than you do. There is no need to quit praying. It’s a dangerous thing for a Christian to live a prayerless life. Let the fear of God cause you to love him more.

“Stay awake and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41).

Don’t open portals for the Devil and his angels to have dominion over your health, education, job, marriage, business, relationships, etc.

Miracles do happen anytime you connect with God in prayer. Whether you like it or not; there is spiritual warfare going on. It affects every single being. This is the reason why you have to call on the LORD of the Heavenly Armies.

He has got your back. No need to be afraid of the storm blowing in your life. Don’t break the connection between you and God.

Your Connection With God Is Real

Just like I said earlier in this post; God is a Spirit, we cannot see him. But remember that you are a Spirit-filled being. You share something in common with Him. He made you in his own image. God loves you more than you could ever think of.

We do pray a lot but sometimes our conscience questions us: Is God really listening?. Yes, he is but his timings are different from yours. He has better plans for you to stay calm and faithful. Don’t break the connection.

“The intentions of the heart belong to a man, but the answer of the tongue comes from the LORD” (Proverbs 16:1).

Scientific Evidence To Help You Stay Connected With God

We don’t see what happens in the spiritual realm when we pray. But surely things do happen. Christians don’t necessarily need proof of scientific evidence to motivate us to keep praying and believing in God.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).

However, science has a positive contribution to highlight certain important relationship mankind has with his maker.

Without saying much, research has added to the significance of the connection between a Christian and the maker of heaven and earth. Some of us pray and feels the presence of the Lord physically and spiritually.

Dr. Andy Newberg who happens to be a Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine has proven the reality of a believer’s connection with God through prayers. How?.

As a professional neuroscientist, he made a religious man pray/meditate for about 12 minutes. Dr. Newberg used an MRI machine to scan the brain activity of this religious devotee before and after prayers. The result was amazing.

The research indicated that there was a real connection between the believer and God. How did Newberg even conclude that? According to him, the latter scanned showed that the frontal lobe of the brain has blossomed.

Newberg also made an atheist pray and concentrate on God. The two scans (before prayer/meditation and after prayer/meditation) did not show any difference. Even though the atheist said he was focusing on God.

The reason why his frontal lobe did not blossom is that he was lacking “faith.” He did not believe.

“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe” (1 Corinthians 1:21).

Meaning anytime you spend some minute to connect with God through prayers your brain activity changes. Don’t forget that both the brain and the heart has the same kind of neurons.

Scientific research by David Paterson, Ph.D. a professor at Oxford University has also found out that “the heart has its own mind.” That connection forms a perfect symbiosis.

God, therefore, stays in our heart and mind as well; that is if we prepare ourselves to welcome him.

In Summation

The foundation of our belief in God is built on faith. Yes! Faith in God brings healing and miracles. Keep on connecting with God without any doubt.

It will take faith to see your prayers answered. I, therefore, encourage you today to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:12) and fight for whatever belongs to you in Christ Jesus.

He is closer to you than you thought. If you study the Bible carefully, you will realize that the faith of many individuals got them what they need from God.

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20).

I hope this article has been helpful to you. Stay connected with God even in difficult times. Trust him unconditionally and he will always bless you abundantly. Your prayers will never be wastage if you are a faithful Christian. Stay blessed.
